hat is the Hampton Roads Adventure Boot Camp for Women?

A four-week outdoor program of fitness instruction, nutritional counseling and motivational training. You will be inspired and have fun while participating in a fantastic workout led by Certified Adventure Boot Camp Coaches and Virginia Beach Personal Trainers, Adam and Jennifer Pismeny, Joe Boozer, and EJ NewmanCarlos Pagan is your super fitness coach in Chesapeake. Each day, camp will be one hour in length starting at 5:30 am and 9:00am in Virginia Beach. We now offer PM boot camps at Mt. Trashmore Park. 545-630PM. Women’s Only on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from Spring to Fall.

Your Chesapeake Adventure Boot Camp will meet 5 days per week. Monday – Friday starting at 5:30am. Starting in 2013 we will start the 5 day/week program.

What if I’m not very physically fit?
NOBODY will be left behind or asked to complete more than they are capable of doing safely. Nor will anybody go home unchallenged! Women of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate. Each day will slightly increase in intensity. You will inspire and be inspired by others.

Where is the location we will meet?
The Virginia Beach Adventure Boot Camp meets at Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School and Lynnhaven Middle School Park  in the Great Neck, First Colonial and Hilltop areas of Virginia Beach.Please see our calendar page for more location information.

What types of exercises are included in the program? 
Exercises include: Core conditioning, short distance running (less than one mile), muscular strength training, kettlebells, jumping rope, circuit training, hiking, sport yoga, fitness kick boxing, Pilates, sport drills, obstacle courses, surprises, and more!

How often will we meet?
Participants will meet every Monday through Friday for one hour during the four-week program. All participants will be expected to arrive on time. Camp starts at 5:30 AM and 9:30am.

Boot Campers in the Chesapeake Boot Camp will meet at the Great Bridge Presbyterian Church Monday-Friday with camp starting at 5:30am.

Starting in March Virginia Beach Boot Camp will open their Night Camps. Starting March, this program will meet Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights at Mt. Trashmore Park.

What do I need to bring?
An exercise mat, small hand weights (5-8 lbs.), water bottle, running shoes, and a sense of adventure. You can purchase hand weights at any (Dick’s Sporting Goods, Wal-Mart and Target).

What can I achieve from camp?
Your body will become more fit and toned, and you will gain more confidence making a dramatic improvement in your physical well-being. The boot camp program includes exercises designed to firm your butt and thighs, flatten your stomach, reduce body fat and increase stamina. By losing fat and gaining muscle, you’ll lose inches and gain strength while looking and feeling better. Also, you’ll meet great people who share in the same vision of striving to reach their goals for a healthier mind and body. You’ll receive FREE nutrition information/meal plans and  e-mails for extra motivation and support.

Why should I participate?
You will make a dramatic improvement in your physical and mental well-being. In addition, you will meet great people who share your same passion for acquiring a more healthy body and mind. You will be finished with your training before the rest of the world has even gotten started!

What is the cost (investment in myself)?
Each four-week boot camp has a registration fee of $299 for 5days/wk. That’s twenty hours of instruction! We will help you with general nutrition information/meal plans and motivational e-mails! It averages out to just $14.95 per hour. Where else can you get premiere or cutting edge fitness instruction for that incredible price? Your Adventure Boot Camp coaches typically charge $80 to $130 per hour for their services – this is a great opportunity to receive motivating fitness instruction by a certified advanced personal trainers for just a fraction of the cost.

Other options:
The Adventure Boot Camp program has proven to provide its campers with dramatic improvements. 5 days per week is hands down the best choice if you want to experience the best results. However, there is a 3 day per week option which is ideal if you already have morning commitments or you are just beginning.

You can also choose to come three days per week for a discount of $100. Total cost is just $199. Note: Even greater results occur when you enroll in the full 5-day per week program. We are now accepting pre-registration for the next camp.
